Textile Text Formatting

Because we’re dealing with computers and the web, we’d normally have to know a little bit of HTML if we wanted to format our text (*bold*, italic, etc.) or create links. Luckily, the guys at Textism, along with Brad Choate, have made a plugin that simplifies text formatting so that we can all do it without learning HTML.

I’m using some of their options in this post. What I can’t figure out is how I can write a tutorial on it (because if you write their tags, they’ll be translated into whatever they’re supposed to do). No, wait. I just figured it out. In any case, let this be the test post, and the next post will be the instructions.
