Maddenation

Site Updates

I have put small “posted-by” pictures and ascii-generated popups of everyone on the site, so post away. Your picture will automatically appear under your entry, and if you click on it, you’ll get your own cool ascii-text image.

Also, there are some new categories. Please remember to read through the Instructions posts to know about the filing system and everything. The new categories are:

Connections: created by Dad for use with those idea-posts that bring together different events in new, interesting ways.

Movies: created by me for posting short movie files, not for reviewing Hollywood movies. Please use “Reviews” or “Recommendations” for that.

Requests: created by me for Dan, who didn’t assign a category to his entry, which made extra work for me because then his entry got saved in a non-logical place. Please always assign a category. If nothing seems to fit, use “Stuffs,” our miscellaneous category. Anyway, this is for requests, which are sort of like questions, but more specifically asking people to do something as a favor.

So, we should be ready to go. I still have to design interior pages, but that’ll happen soon enough. Enjoy!
