The Kids Sledding

Karina thinks she scares snow away, and she may be right. No matter where we’ve lived, there’s been very little snow while we were there (and often blizzards once we’re gone). This year was no exception. There was only one serviceable snowstorm (one that’s good for playing or sledding), and it happened nigh about the end of January. So we got the kids out sledding for the only time this year. Here is a one-minute video of the event.

This ought to auto-load and auto-play (though it may take a while; the file is 723 K). If it doesn’t, you may need to download the QuickTime plugin. Or you may want to try downloading the movie file itself to see what your computer does with it when you double click on it.

It’s amazing to see the kiddos sledding. I can’t wait to see Sara and the rest of the family out there this Christmas (Karina and Mom too!). And how cool is it that we have this place (and the technology) to watch this video from anywhere? Very.
