Red or Blue?
Here’s a test to see if you are a red state person or a blue state person. I hate these tests, and don’t believe they mean anything whatsoever. They are worthless, nada, B.S., stupid, waste of time. Forget it. Don’t bother. I’m sorry I mentioned it. Go do something else.
I live in a blue state, but got labeled “a little red.” That’s fine with me. I answered no on the dog question, but should have said I don’t have a dog. I think a lot of my “redness” came from general knowledge while a lot of my “non-blueness” came from not caring about the sushi crowd. I’m not a big Bush fan, but I hate living in a state where he wasn’t even in contention. One of these days we’re going to move and I hope we have the good sense to head for a red state, where the cost of living is lower and the people are realer.

Patrick • 04/10/05 • 2:17 AM:I, too, came up “a little red.” I don’t quite agree with the logic. I think that just by being intelligent and either knowing that the winged 3 is for Dale Earnhardt, or guessing that Toby Keith would have sung that song, I could get a lot of answers right. In any case, it’s very weird to me that almost all the questions here would tend to divide people culturally, and the poor people, who used to vote for the democratic party because it used more government money for welfare, are now “red” while rich snobbish people who pay others to walk their dogs are “blue.” Anyway, Dad, I like real people, too, but I’m not convinced that red states have a greater percentage of them.

Dan • 04/11/05 • 1:06 PM:I was bluer than redder. It was a dumb survey.
