Paper or plastic?

This presentation is a good single-topic argument that I believe is very effective. We already have several cloth bags to use in place of plastic at the stores, but I don’t always remember to use them. Bottom line is, until I see a convincing argument to the contrary, it’s paper over plastic.

Nice presentation. And “paper or plastic” is a very tough issue, along with all environmental issues. I’m not sure they’ve got it right. They = the makers of this presentation, Whole Foods, etc.

Here’s a solid response from one of my favorite environmental websites - grist.org

And here’s a piece from the NYT’s Magazine Green Issue

Hmm.
